Jiayu Kang

Jiayu Kang is a Research Analyst for the Crime Lab and Education Lab. In this role, Jiayu performs statistical analysis for research projects that informs policymakers and practitioners in the field of crime.

Jiayu recently graduated from the University of Chicago with an MA in the Social Sciences and a certificate in Education and Society. While pursuing her MA degree, she worked with the UChicago Consortium on School Research on the Chicago Connected project. Jiayu also holds a BS in Human & Organizational Development (HOD) and Economics from Vanderbilt University, with the highest honors in HOD.
