Ran Cheng is a Research Analyst for the Crime Lab. In this role, Ran performs statistical analysis for program evaluation to inform policy decisions and provides technical assistance on data to project partners.
Prior to joining the Crime Lab, Ran worked as an evaluation consultant in the field of international development. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago with certificates in data analytics and international policy. She also holds a BA from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
