Megan Cordes is the Senior Manager of Fundraising Operations for the Crime Lab and Education Lab. In this role, Megan conducts work to move forward the Labs’ fundraising priorities and provides support to the public affairs team.

Megan started at Urban Labs in 2017 in a one-year fellowship program. Prior to this work, Megan held internships at the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Office of the Under Secretary of International Trade, U.S. Congresswoman Cheri Bustos’ District Office (D-17), and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Megan holds a Master’s in public policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and holds Bachelor’s degrees in political science and history from the University of Chicago.
