Matt Triano is a Data Scientist for the Crime Lab and Education Lab. In this role, Matt builds and maintains machine learning pipelines, data infrastructure, and internal tools. Matt is also a domain expert on crime and policing and is a mentor on technical subjects.

Matt has a B.S. in Physics from Purdue University and a M.S. in Computer Science from DePaul University. Prior to joining the Labs, he spent several years in the industry using machine learning and analytical techniques to understand and model real-world phenomena and achieve better outcomes.
