Kate Daugherty is a Data Project Associate for the Crime Lab. Her responsibilities include data collection, management, and analysis in addition to preparing results for partners and non-academic audiences. 

Before starting this role at the Crime Lab, Kate spent two years assisting Professor Jens Ludwig with his upcoming book. She previously worked for youth disability and criminal justice non-profit organizations. Kate graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Statistics and Machine Learning, where her independent research focused on gun ownership and judicial bias in bail settings.
