John Greer is a Data Scientist for the Crime Lab. He applies statistical methods to help inform more effective policies and decision-making on projects related to policing.
Before joining the Labs, John worked with the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Data Policy Lab to help build data tools that democratize NHPI data and highlight the importance of data disaggregation in revealing health disparities among smaller subpopulations.
John holds an MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA in History & Economics from Western Kentucky University.
