Hays Golden is the Managing Director for the Crime Lab and Education Lab, helping to oversee research projects and operations across both Labs.
Before coming to the Labs, Hays spent five years at AIG, first in their Science Division, doing data-driven transformation work within the company before joining the Commercial Underwriting division. In Commercial Underwriting, Hays was part of several major initiatives before spending a few years helping to launch Attune, an Insurance Startup which was a joint venture between AIG and other partners.
Hays received a BS in Mathematics, a MA in Economics, and a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Hays is based out of our New York City office (though spent eleven, happy years living in Chicago).
