Daniel Bartell

Daniel Bartell is a Data Operations Associate for the Education Lab. He also works as a data liaison to the Chicago Police Department. He supports projects through the creation of data-sharing agreements between the Labs and our community and institutional partners.

Before working at the Education Lab, Dan was a High School English, Art History, and Philosophy teacher for fifteen years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Grinnell College (American Studies) and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago.
