Alleni Poole

Alleni “Porsche” Poole is the Lead IT User Support Specialist with the Urban Labs’ Core IT unit, which serves all five of the University of Chicago Urban Labs — the Crime Lab, Education Lab, Energy & Environment Lab, Health Lab, and Inclusive Economy Lab. In this role, Porsche supports all staff, external partners, and affiliates by helping strategize and deliver gold-standard IT support with accuracy, speed, and empathy. 

Prior to coming to the Labs, Porsche worked with the University of Chicago’s Central IT Services as her prior team’s Project Lead & Desktop Support Consultant. In this role, Porsche was able to gain familiarity with University systems and procedures and created relationships with IT professionals across the organization and at peer institutions. Porsche holds a BA in Sociology & Anthropology and Religion from Swarthmore College along with various IT certifications.
