One Seattle: Building the City’s First CVI Infrastructure
One Seattle aims to reduce gun violence by building a citywide community violence intervention ecosystem focused on equity, accountability, and healing. Centering those most impacted, especially Black youth and young adults, the project combines targeted interventions with community investment. Key efforts include a High-Risk Intervention Team, a 12-month transitional employment program, and trauma-informed support for victims. With measurable goals and cross-sector collaboration, the initiative seeks to create lasting safety and opportunity across Seattle.
