We Are the Evidence
We Are the Evidence is an 18-month initiative to build the nation’s first trauma-informed, practitioner-governed data system for the community violence intervention field. The project empowers frontline workers to co-create a mobile-accessible platform that captures both measurable outcomes—such as mediations and crisis responses—and deeper indicators of trust, healing, and stability. Piloted with CVI partners in New York City, the initiative will produce a governance model and advocacy toolkit that help communities use their own data to strengthen funding, policy, and long-term safety outcomes.
