Focused on Philadelphia, this violence prevention strategy addresses the urgent housing and safety needs of Black men impacted by community violence and justice system involvement. The Relocation Support Model provides rapid risk assessments, immediate placement in safe housing, trauma-informed case management, and individualized safety planning. By removing barriers tied to criminal background restrictions and connecting participants to stabilizing services, the initiative aims to reduce retaliation, prevent re-injury, and improve long-term safety and housing stability.
