T.O.U.C.H Outreach
South Minneapolis faces overlapping crises of gun violence, opioid addiction, and homelessness, with disproportionate harm to Black, Indigenous, and immigrant residents along Lake Street. Fragmented management and unstable funding have weakened local violence prevention efforts. This project proposes a unified community violence intervention governance and data framework to align partners, ensure transparency, and stabilize multi-year funding. By improving coordination and accountability, it seeks to restore trust and achieve lasting reductions in violence and community instability.
