Culturally Rooted Pathways for Peace
This project introduces a prevention-based initiative that empowers Black and Brown youth in inner-city communities to break cycles of violence through culturally relevant engagement in sports and music. By creating safe, supportive spaces for mentorship, creative expression, and leadership development, the program nurtures emotional resilience and academic growth. In partnership with community leaders, artists, and educators, the initiative integrates life skills into recreational activities—using culture as a catalyst to guide youth toward purpose, stability, and long-term success.
