Generational Health aims to combat food insecurity, poor health and high crime in the Greater Englewood, Chicago neighborhood through a three-part strategy: expanding access to nutritious food via community gardens, promoting wellness through nutrition education and physical activity and fostering economic growth by supporting local businesses. By addressing root causes and engaging vulnerable residents, the initiative seeks to build a healthier, safer and more self-sufficient community.
