Capstone project was based on an ongoing I had at the time focused on traffic safety along a busy corridor. The primary goal was a mix of policing/enforcement along with problem solving at several dangerous intersections. Some of the short-term improvements included lighting upgrades, signal timing. leading pedestrian indicator timing and adding no turn on red signage. The funding for the program was cut due to budget considerations, so I was never able to really fully see this through.
