This project addresses the lack of safe spaces and positive community engagement opportunities for youth in Chicago neighborhoods impacted by violence. By partnering with schools, recreation departments, and local organizations, the initiative aims to establish designated safe zones, youth-led beautification efforts, mentorship programs, and parent education workshops. Through these interventions, Together Chicago seeks to reduce youth exposure to violence, strengthen community ties, and foster environments where young people can thrive. The long-term goal is to build safer, more connected neighborhoods through sustained collaboration, empowerment, and investment in youth well-being.
