This project aims to reduce gun violence in Birmingham, Alabama, by training local violence interrupters to mediate conflicts and prevent shootings. Through a 5-year plan and community collaboration, the initiative seeks to connect high-risk individuals to resources, fostering a safer and more empowered community.
