The IN/UP & OUT project aims to support the mental health and well-being of community violence intervention (CVI) frontline workers in Greensboro, NC, by establishing a comprehensive wellness support program that includes a certification system for professional career advancement. This initiative addresses the burnout, compassion fatigue, and mental health challenges faced by CVI workers due to high levels of stress and trauma, as well as inadequate support systems.
