Building CVI Capacity in the South
This project aims to establish the first CVI Training Institution in the southern U.S., addressing a critical gap in regional infrastructure. Through strategic partnerships with national leaders—including the Urban Peace Institute, The Community Justice Network, Cities United, and HAVI—the initiative will unify efforts in training, technical assistance, research, advocacy, and policy. Early collaboration through virtual and in-person convenings will shape a shared framework tailored to regional needs, positioning CVI as an essential component of public safety systems.
