Designing a Healing System of Care for Violence Prevention Professionals
This project proposes the development of a nationally coordinated healing system of care to support the wellness of Violence Prevention Professionals (VPPs) working in CVI organizations. Using a design thinking approach, the initiative will convene subject matter experts to develop, peer review, and publish a framework that integrates restorative healing practices into CVI workplaces. By addressing trauma, burnout, and professional development gaps, the project aims to sustain the CVI workforce and enhance the long-term effectiveness of violence prevention efforts.
