Duty Commander Rick Leyvas

My capstone presentation was a collaboration between community groups, faith leaders, and officers from the South Mountain Precinct to address violent crime at various locations within the precinct. We were in the middle of the process and had increased community meetings and feedback to officers at those meetings along with seeing a decrease in violent crime when I was rotated out of my position. The basic concepts are still in place with the new precinct commander, but changes have been introduced.
