A Wellness Framework for Frontline Workers
This project seeks to enhance the mental health and wellness infrastructure for community violence intervention workers by establishing a comprehensive support program focused on healing, resilience, and organizational sustainability. The initiative will provide licensed clinical counseling, wellness coordination, and trauma-informed training to CVI staff, aiming to reduce burnout and secondary trauma among frontline professionals. Key activities include offering accessible telehealth services, creating wellness kits, and delivering structured workshops that strengthen coping mechanisms and peer support. The project ultimately aims to foster holistic well-being and improve the overall effectiveness and longevity of CVI practitioners.
