Building Schools Free from Violence
This project aims to reduce school-based youth violence in Charlotte, NC by placing trained violence interrupters on high school campuses to mediate conflict and build trust with high-risk students. Through prevention workshops, mental health resources, and collaboration with school staff and community partners, the program fosters safer learning environments and empowers students to become advocates for peace and well-being.
