Cohort 6 (January - May 2026)

Captain Regina Zeigler

Tampa, FL

My presented capstone was an intelligence-led strategy to reduce violent crime and disrupt illegal drug activity within the 24th Avenue corridor, located between 16th Street and 19th Street and 21st Avenue to 26th Avenue in Tampa. The project combines targeted enforcement, community partnerships, environmental improvements, and collaboration with the State Attorney's Office to address the root causes of violence. Success will be measured through reductions in firearm-related incidents, narcotics activity, calls for service, and improvements in community engagement and offender accountability. The ultimate objective is to create a safer, more stable neighborhood through sustainable, data-driven policing and collaborative problem solving.
