How a police substation, when used as a multi-agency and community-based hub, can reduce violent crime and retaliation cycles in a high-risk corridor despite limited police staffing. Since graduation, the substation has opened and is being used by multiple non-profit organizations along with limited police staff. Since the substation has opened, violent crime in this corridor has reduced and the department has had positive feedback from the community.
