My Capstone project is titled "Patrol Optimization Plan." The purpose is to restructure the patrol division in several ways to address officer wellness, current policing issues and supervision problems. The multi-phase plan includes an analysis of calls for service to guide a redistricting of the patrol map, a data dashboard to supervisors to use in managing officers and calls for service, and a seasonal patrol plan. After the capstone was presented at the PLA, I included a restructuring of the way patrol officers are supervised by restructuring the rotating days off schedule.
