Healing Circles Survivor Leadership Initiative
Healing Circles develops a community-based healing model for Black and Brown communities impacted by gun violence and incarceration by recognizing both death and imprisonment as forms of collective loss. Through structured healing cohorts, grief support, spiritual wellness practices, and credible messenger training, survivors and family members are positioned as co-producers of safety and healing. By transforming grief into leadership and advocacy, the initiative aims to strengthen community wellness and redefine justice through restoration.
