Reducing Youth Gun Violence and Lynn & Lawrence
This project aims to reduce youth gun violence in Lynn and Lawrence, Massachusetts, by focusing on high-risk individuals aged 17 and under. Through a street outreach and case management model, the initiative will engage 100 youth annually, providing therapy, education, and workforce development support while tracking outcomes such as school re-enrollment and job placement. The project also seeks to strengthen state legislation on “ghost guns” by building a coalition of community leaders, policymakers, and youth advocates to promote firearm accountability and reform. Together, these efforts aim to reduce youth shootings and create safer, more resilient communities.
